Jack has been a licensed Optician for more than 40 years, but what truly sets him apart is his passion for helping people see their world clearly. Before Towne Optical ever existed, Jack was already shaping the future of his profession. He served as President of the College of Opticians of Ontario, taught the next generation of Opticians as a professor at Georgian College, and built a reputation for excellence in eyeglass production and contact lens design.
From that knowledge, passion, and dedication, Towne Optical was born.
Jack believed that eyewear should be crafted with precision, care, and honesty—and that people deserve to know exactly how their glasses are made. That original commitment still drives our lab today.
